Abstract: Stenolechiodes pseudogemmellus gen. n., sp. n. from Central and South Europe and Asia Minor is described and com-pared with externally similar and well known Stenolechia gemmella (Linnaeus, 1758). Specifical generic characters are stated and illustrated. Adults, wing venation and genitalia are described and illustrated together with other related palaearctic genera Chorivalva Omel'ko, 1988, Parastenolechia Kanazawa, 1985 and Parachronistis Meyrick, 1925. The subgenus Origo Omel'ko, 1988 is synonymized with Parastenolechia Kanazawa, 1985; a new combination, Parastenolechia nigrinotella (Zeller, 1847) is proposed. Lectotype of Lita nigrovittella Duponchel, 1839 is designated.

Abstract: New records of distribution of the genus Somatochlora Selys, 1871 in Bohemia, Moravia, Silesia and Slovakia are pre-sented. S. metallica (Van der Linden, 1825) was ascertained at 17 localities. Occurence of S. alpestris (Selys, 1840) is confirmed from Moravia (Hrubý Jeseník and Králický Sněžník Moutains). S.flavoinaculata (Van der Linden, 1825) was found for the third time in Moravia and Silesia at Podbeskydská pahorkatina Highlands.

Abstract: Anophthalmus ajdovskanus naraglavi ssp. n. from the Sněžná jama (Snow Cave) and A. erebus bozoi ssp. n. from the Kamniška jama (Kamnik Cave), both in the Kamnik- and Savinja Alps in northern Slovenia are described. Differential diagnoses in comparison with nominotypical and other subspecies of A. ajdovskanus (Ganglbauer in J. Müller, 1913) and A. erebus (Krauss, 1906) are given. The male genitalia and other diagnostic features are illustrated.

Abstract: Catops hanusi sp. n. from northern Bulgaria is described, illustrated and compared with other species of the C. fuscus species group. The male of Catops pirinensis Zerche, 1992 is described and the description of related C. purkynei Obenberger, 1917 is completed. Faunistic records of further 23 rare or interesting species of Cholevinae from Bulgaria are provided. The spe-cies Nemadus colonoides (Kraatz, 1851), Anemadus strigosus strigosus (Kraatz, 1852), A. acicularis (Kraatz, 1852), Choleva ni-valis (Kraatz, 1856), C. elongata (Paykull, 1798), Catopomorphus orientalis (Aube, 1850), Attaephilus illyricus Jeannel, 1936, A. molitori Scheerpeltz, 1956 and Catops fuliginosus fuliginosus Erichson, 1837 are recorded from Bulgaria for the first time.

Abstract: For Tetralonia alticincta (Lepeletier, 1841) faunistic records in Bohemia are summarized together with an analysis of colour-pattern variation of cuticula. This analysis (never previously ascertained for this species) relates to a totally isolated popu-lation in northwestern Bohemia.
