New records of Ptiliidae (Coleoptera) from the Czech Republic

Abstract: Five species of Ptiliidae are reported from the Czech Republic. Ptenidium
laevigatum Erichson, 1845 and Baeocrara variolosa (Mulsant et Rey, 1867) are
reported for the first time from Bohemia, Acrotrichis intermedia (Gillmeister,
1845) is reported for the first time from Moravia. Findings of Baeocrara
japonica (Matthews, 1884) and Acrotrichis rosskotheni Sundt, 1971 from Moravia
represent the first records for the Czech Republic. The male and female
genitalia are illustrated for A. rosskotheni and A. intermedia.
