Abstrakt: Gabrius phelsuma sp. n. from Madagascar is described and compared to other very
similar species from Madagascar, G. tsaratananus Jarrige, 1970, and G.
fimbriolatus Erichson, 1840. Relevant diagnostic characters of the fore body
and male genitalia of the new species and G. tsaratananus are illustrated.
