Abstract: This paper presents records of 912 species of 59 families of Lepidoptera in the town of Rumburk and its environs (Šluknovský výběžek region, Northern Bohemia), based on our own faunistic research in 1963-2005 and historical data. Nascia cilialis (Hübner, 1796) of the family Pyralidae is recorded for the first time in Bohemia.

Abstract: During a recent survey we found 175 species of Aculeate Hymenoptera in the Vyšenské kopce National Nature Reserve; 86 of them are new for this locality. In total, 311 species of Aculeate Hymenoptera are known from the reserve at present. The locality is very valuable due to the occurrence of distinctly xerophilous and steppe species together with hylophilous and/or mountain species. The most interesting result of our survey is the finding of Chelostoma emarginatum (Nylander, 1856) from the family Megachilidae, which is the first record for Bohemia. We also propose some minor changes in the red list of Czech Hymenoptera.

Abstract: Gabrius phelsuma sp. n. from Madagascar is described and compared to other very similar species from Madagascar, G. tsaratananus Jarrige, 1970, and G. fimbriolatus Erichson, 1840. Relevant diagnostic characters of the fore body and male genitalia of the new species and G. tsaratananus are illustrated.

Abstract: We provide a list of the Dermaptera of Iran based on recently collected specimens and literature data. Altogether, we report 12 species from Iran. Euborellia femoralis (Dohrn, 1863) and Anisolabis maritima (Bonelli, 1832) are recorded from Iran for the first time. The record of E. femoralis confirms its occurrence in the Palaearctic region.
