Abstract: Nezara viridula (Linnaeus, 1758) (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Pentatomidae) is
recorded for the first time from Slovakia based on a specimen collected in
Štúrovo. The bionomics, distribution, and economic importance of the species
are briefly reviewed.
