Abstract: In 2008, we recorded 113 species of Aculeata (Hymenoptera) on two xeric slopes
(Macošská and Vilémovická stráň) in the Moravian Karst PLA. Altogether we
recorded, based on status in the Red List of Invertebrates of the Czech
Republic, 1 extinct, 3 critically endangered, 6 endangered, and 3 vulnerable
species. Priocnemis mesobrometi Wolf, 1958 was recorded in the Czech Republic
for the first time for about 60 years and Andrena rosae Panzer, 1801 was
recorded for the first time for more than 40 years in Moravia.
