Abstrakt: Ascalenia viviparella Kasy, 1969 is a Central Asian species inhabiting desert
and semi-desert areas, so far known in Europe only from the southern Urals,
Volga-Don region, Crimea and Lithuania. In 2024, it was suddenly recorded at
several sites in Czechia. In this paper, photographs of adult Czech specimens
and their male and female genitalia are presented. The origin of the captured
specimens is discussed.
