Abstract: In this article, the valid species status of Amara (Amara) bibula Antoine, 1945 is restored. A lectotype and two paralectotypes are designated here. The species occurs at altitudes of 1800-3000m a.s.l. in the High and Middle Atlas in central Morocco.

Abstract: A new and remarkable record of a 5th instar larva of the extremely rare stink bug Dybowskyia reticulata (Dallas, 1851) is presented from Europe. A chronological overview of all European records of the species is provided and discussed in the context of its Palaearctic distribution, together with an evaluation of the species' phenology, notes on its biology and modelling of its potential area of current occurrence in Europe. Additionally, an update to the current Slovakian Red List is suggested.

Abstract: Cyclodinus dentatus (Pic, 1895) and Microhoria nectarina (Panzer, 1794) are briefly diagnosed, including figures of their aedeagi. Four new synonyms are proposed: Cyclodinus dentatus (Pic, 1895) (= Anthicus densifer Pic, 1900, Anthicus cerastes transdanubianus Roubal, 1927, syn. nov.), Microhoria nectarina (Panzer, 1794) (= Clavicomus balazuci Bonadona, 1986, Microhoria medvedevi Telnov, 2004, syn. nov.). A lectotype is designated for Anthicus dentatus Pic, 1895. New faunistic data are presented, including the first records of C. dentatus from Greece and M. nectarina from China, Iran, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and Romania.

(India: Uttarakhand), A. moratrix sp. nov. (India: Arunachal Pradesh), and A. merkli sp. nov. (Republic of China: Taiwan). In addition, the first records of A. muelleriana (Pic, 1955) from the Palaearctic Region (Yemen) are presented.

Abstract: The Brown Marmorated Stink Bug, Halyomorpha halys Stål, 1855 (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Pentatomidae: Pentatominae: Cappaeini), is recorded from the Czech Republic for the first time based on a female collected with a light trap in Luková u Přerova (central Moravia) and a male collected indoor in Prague (central Bohemia). The current distribution, economic importance and biology of the species are briefly reviewed. The species is an important pest of a large number of crops and can cause considerable economic damage.

Abstract: Baeocera fujiana sp. nov. from the Chinese Province of Fujian is described. This species is a member of the Baeocera monstrosa group defined by the male genital characters. The B. monstrosa group now comprises 17 species, all Asian in distribution. The shape of the parameres is especially useful for identification of members of this group.

Currently, the species is known from only two localities in southernmost Moravia. Habitat and collecting circumstances are briefly described. Literature data on ecology of the beetle are summarized.

Abstract: The ant fauna of the Dolní Povltaví region (Central Bohemia, Czech Republic) was studied intensively between April 2016 and September 2017. We also used our older data gathered from 1974 onwards. Ants were collected from 71 localities spread throughout the region. We identified there at least 54 ant species, i. e. 61% of the 88 species known to occur in Bohemia. The most interesting habitat was the remnants of natural rocky steppes scattered along the Vltava River and the Zákolanský potok River, where we found 24 species. The rarest species recorded was Lasius myops Forel, 1894, so far known from only a few Czech localities. The relatively frequent occurrence of Colobopsis truncata (Spinola, 1808), along the Vltava River from the outskirts of Prague until its confluence with the Labe River, was also surprising. Other species recorded that are only rarely found in Bohemia include Camponotus aethiops (Latreille, 1798), Myrmica curvithorax Bondroit, 1920, M. gallienii Bondroit, 1920, Aphaenogaster subterranea (Latreille, 1798) and Lasius jensi Seifert, 1982. We conclude that the ant fauna of the Dolní Povltaví region is fairly rich, and is comparable to those known from the other warmest regions of Bohemia.

Abstract: The species Actenodia perfuga (Dvořák, 1993), to date known only from Syria, is recorded from Iraq (Ga'ara desert near Ar Rutbah) on the basis of an old specimen collected by O. Kodym which was found during work with the A. Olexa collection. Photographs of a specimen and the paratype used for comparison are enclosed.

Abstract: This article presents recent findings of Horisme radicaria (La Harpe, 1855), supplemented by available historical records from the Czech Republic. The species is already known from a number of localities, in Bohemia only from the vicinity of Srbsko in the Bohemian Karst Protected Landscape Area. Recently, it has been found in Plzeň-Krkavec (Bohemia, Pilsen region), Beroun-Jarov (Central Bohemian region), and in Moravia in Perná (South Moravia region). These records confirm the occurrence of H. radicaria in Bohemia after more than 30 years. Additional research on the distribution of this species in the Czech Republic is needed.
