Abstrakt: New distributional records are presented for seven taxa of small carrion beetles
(Coleoptera: Leiodidae: Cholevinae) from Slovakia: Anemadus strigosus strigosus
(Kraatz, 1852), Catops nigricantoides Reitter, 1901, C. ventricosus rotundatus
Szymczakowski, 1963, Dreposcia umbrina (Erichson, 1837), Eocatops pelopis
pelopis (Reitter, 1884), Nemadus (Nemadus) colonoides (Kraatz, 1851) and
Ptomaphagus (Merodiscus) validus (Kraatz, 1852). Their known distribution in
Slovakia is summarized and mapped and information about their ecology is
presented.
