Contribution to the taxonomy and knowledge of hosts of ichneumonids (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae)

Abstrakt: A new ichneumonid species from the subfamily Cremastinae, Pristomerus dodecellae sp. n., is described from the Czech Republic and Poland. The species was reared from the pine gelechiid moth Exoteleia dodecella (Linnaeus, 1758). Cremastus dalmatinus Strobl, 1903 is removed from synonymy with C. crassicornis Thomson, 1890 and reinstated as a valid species. The paper further provides a list of newly recorded hosts of ichneumonids, based mainly on rearing observations in the Czech Republic and Slovakia; several new data are also presented from southern Europe and Central Asia. The list comprises 96 host species, including 86 spp. of Lepidoptera, 8 spp. of Coleoptera, and 2 spp. of Diptera. Four additional species are recorded as new for the Czech Republic, based on specimens reared from hosts or collected in abandoned mine galleries: Campoplex punctipleuris Horstmann, 1980; Diphyus palliatorius Gravenhorst, 1829; Exephanes coelebs Kriechbaumer, 1890, and Pristomerus kasparjani Narolsky, 1986. The following five species are new for Slovakia (based on reared specimens): Exochus tardigradus Gravenhorst, 1829; Netelia paramelanura Tolkanitz, 1974; N. tarsata Brischke, 1880; Ophion ocellaris Ulbricht, 1926, and Scirtetes robusta Woldstedt, 1877.
