Abstract: In this paper, the second reliable record of Hypocoprus latridioides
Motschulsky, 1839 from the Czech Republic (Podyjí National Park) is presented.
Currently, the species is known from only two localities in southernmost
Moravia. Habitat and collecting circumstances are briefly described. Literature
data on ecology of the beetle are summarized.
