Abstract: The results of undirected and non-intensive sampling of long-legged flies
(Diptera: Dolichopodidae) in the Uzh River Basin are presented. Rhaphium
lanceolatum Loew, 1850, Teuchophorus monacanthus Loew, 1859, Teuchophorus
simplex Mik, 1880 and Sympycnus simplicipes Becker, 1908 were recorded from
Ukraine for the first time. An updated checklist of Dolichopodidae of Ukraine,
including 158 species, is added.
