Abstract: Altogether 1510 specimens have been collected at various localities in the
Střední Povltaví region and in the Brdy hills (Central Bohemia, Czech
Republic) during my research and during the „Entomological Days 2005“
meeting of the Czech Entomological Society on May 27–29, 2005. Forty six
species of Neuroptera were present (Coniopterygidae 10 species, Osmylidae 1,
Sisyridae 1, Hemerobiidae 20, Chrysopidae 11 and Myrmeleontidae 3),
representing about 53% of the total species diversity in the Czech Republic. The
most common species were: Coniopteryx pygmaea Enderlein, 1906, Chrysoperla
carnea (Stephens, 1836) and Hemerobius pini Stephens, 1836. Semidalis
pseudouncinata Meinander, 1963 (Coniopterygidae) is recorded for the first time
for the Czech Republic. Other interesting records include Aleuropteryx loewii
Klapálek, 1894, Semidalis pseudouncinata Meinander, 1963, Osmylus fulvicephalus
(Scopoli, 1763), Drepanepteryx phalaenoides (Linnaeus, 1758), Hemerobius
marginatus Stephens, 1836, Micromus lanosus (Zelený, 1962), Sympherobius
pellucidus (Walker, 1853), Sympherobius klapaleki Zelený, 1963 and Distoleon
tetragrammicus (Fabricius, 1798).
