Abstract: Rhagonycha fugax fugax Mannerheim, 1843, is reported as new for the fauna of
Moravia and its occurrence in the Czech Republic is confirmed. All published
distributional data of this subspecies are reviewed and discussed. The
ecological preferences of R. fugax fugax and its relict, discontinuous
distribution are mentioned.
