Abstract: Following the examination of the holotype of Otiorhynchus (Arammichnasus) laminirostris Reitter, 1912, the monotypic subgenus Arammichnasus Reitter, 1912, is synonymised with Leianisorhynchus Pic, 1905, and O. laminirostris is transferred to this genus as a valid species, Leianisorhynchus laminirostris (Reitter, 1912), comb. n. Moreover, Altonomus rahmei sp. n. from Syria is described. New data on the distribution of Leianisorhynchus wittmeri (Pesarini, 1971) and Altonomus modestus (Iablokoff-Khnzorian, 1957) are presented, including data on host plants.
