Abstract: A systematic list of the Lepidoptera recorded in the territory of Bohemia (the
historical part of the Czech Republic, Central Europe) is given, linking up with
analogous check-lists of Moravia-Silesia and Slovakia (former Czechoslovakia)
which appeared several years ago. Reference to the first record is made for each
species including exact data about unpublished or recently confirmed species.
Problematic species or those interesting from various points of view are
annotated. The possibly complete list of faunistic papers on the Bohemian
lepidopterous fauna, published since 1929 is added. The Catalogue includes
2936 species, 97 are new for the Bohemian fauna or the whole Czech Republic.
The catalogue is written in Czech and German with English Introduction and
headings.
