Abstract: Results of the faunistic research of the phytophagous beetles of the families
Chrysomelidae s. lat., Bruchidae, Urodontidae, Anthribidae and Curculionidae s.
lat. from six localities from environs of Veltrusy (central Bohemia) are
presented. The project is situated to the route of the planned motorway and its
close environs. A systematic list of 338 beetle species is given; followed
with a review of individual plant species examined together with a beetle hosts
found. The beetles are split into three categories (R – relicts, T –
typical and E – expansive).
